Dawn Cowles is one of only a few California State Bar Certified Family Law Specialists in Riverside County. She has a great reputation for being a solid litigator, aggressive negotiator, and for her extensive knowledge of family law. Ms. Cowles has been in practice for over 15 years and also has an MBA degree. She provides support, visitation, dissolution, and dispute resolution services to her clients.
Rich Ackerman assists Ms. Cowles in litigating business valuation, business ownership, controllable cash flow, accounting, and related family law issues at trial. Mr. Ackerman has been in practice since 1994, served as a business law professor, and has tried or arbitrated over 100 cases. He has also been involved in the resolution of several hundred dependency, delinquency, guardianship, miscellaneous litigation, or other related proceedings in the last 14 years. Our firm is also one of the very few in the county that offer civil appeals services to attorneys and litigants. Mr. Ackerman has achieved several published appellate decisions and has a great statistical success rate on appeal.
